Áslákur Ingvarsson is an Icelandic baritone whose work spans classical opera, contemporary music, and theatre. A graduate of The Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp and the Iceland University of the Arts, his repertoire includes roles such as Dr. Malatesta in Don Pasquale and Marcello in La bohème. As a core member of the group Óður—awarded Performer of the Year at the 2026 Icelandic Music Awards—he is dedicated to bringing opera to new audiences. Following his 2024 European debut and a nomination for Singer of the Year at the Gríman awards, Áslákur continues to be an active performer on the Icelandic stage. Read more…
